Association of Ethno-Cultural Centres and Heritage Organisations ECHO unites ethno-cultural centers, cultural institutions, NGOs and active people of the Republic of Karelia for the development of the territories where they work. The main goal is to preserve and promote cultural traditions of the peoples living in Karelia.

Ministry of National and Regional Policy of the Republic of Karelia is an executive authority of the Republic of Karelia, which carries out the functions of implementing state national and regional policies, developing state-religious relations, interacting with socially-oriented non-profit organizations operating in the territory of the Republic of Karelia, implementing a unified state policy in sphere of development of local self-government in the territory of the Republic of Karelia, assistance to local self-government bodies in the Republic of Karelia in the organization of local self-government in the territory of municipalities, in the organization and maintenance of the register of municipal regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Karelia.
