Finno-Ugric peoples of Karelia towards sustainable development

Through this project Centre Young Karelia promoted Finno-Ugric languages and cultures among the population of the Republic of Karelia, as well as analyzed the current status of health of Finno-Ugric peoples. The project was closely linked to the preparation for and participation in the VII World Congress of Finno-Ugric Peoples by the Karelian, Vepsian and Finn delegations. The World Congress held in Lahti, Finland in 2016 was devoted to the theme: Finno-Ugric Peoples Towards Sustainable Development.
