The most important goal of the society is the development and preservation of the Karelian language and culture. History has taught Karelians to value unity, to be tolerant and to respect interaction with representatives of other peoples and beliefs. Society's values ​​are education, the right to one's own language and culture, unity, tolerance, interaction with other peoples and religions. These values ​​society tries to develop and promote through its activities.
