The International Youth Festival “Finno-Ugric Spring - 2019” will be held in Khanty-Mansiysk in May, 21- 24, 2019.

The event will be attended by representatives of the Association of Finno-Ugric Universities (AFUU), which includes: Udmurt State University, Glazov State Pedagogical Institute named after V.G. Korolenko, Mari State University, Pitirim Sorokin Syktyvkar State University, Ogarev Mordovia State University, Yugra State University, Petrozavodsk State University, Komi Republican Academy of State Service and Administration, Eötvös Loránd University (Hungary) and University of Eastern Finland.

The Association of Finno-Ugric universities is a stable platform that unites people who are not indifferent to their language, culture and traditions, created to organize joint national and cultural events with partners. It contributes to the development of new ideas, innovative approaches in educational and intercultural interaction among young people.

Let us recall, that Yugra State University, nowadays, is the Chair of the Association of Finno-Ugric Universities (AFUU) and the initiator of the Festival "Finno-Ugric Spring – 2019".

The International Youth Festival “Finno-Ugric Spring - 2019” will unite new events in their different formats, as well as ongoing projects held by the Government of Yugra Region, the Association of Finno-Ugric Universities and public organizations. The main activities of the Festival: the VIII International Competition “Miss Student Finno-Ugria - 2019” and the All-Russian Youth Forum “Finno-Ugric Meetings in Yugra”.

“Finno-Ugric Spring – 2019” will include round tables, open lectures, master classes and design sessions, as well as specialized exhibitions. In addition, the participants and guests of the Festival will get acquainted with the culture, history and traditions of Yugra outside the main project sites.
The main venues of the Festival are the Concert and Theatre Centre “Yugra-Classic”, Yugra State University and the Regional House of Folk Art.
